Review on Efficient Recessed Downlight Installation: Sunco Lighting Industrial Electrical Components for Lighting by Jeffery Pricinoc

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Exactly what I needed!

Our house has a false ceiling in the finished basement, and when we moved in there were small 30-watt lightbulbs in the ceiling pitchers. They were a bit dark and left a gap around the bulbs which just looked cheap. I've been looking for similarly improved LED units for a while but they were either all too bright (6 100 watt bulbs below - like looking at the sun!), came in packs of 4, 8 or 12. or were too expensive. It was exactly what I was looking for. 75 W, pack of 6, absolutely cheap. I installed them all in about 20 minutes. The springs were a little tricky to work with and in some cases seemed to push the mount out of the can because they were so tight. I cursed a couple of times, but with patience and pliers I got everything in place. The flanges are not exactly flush with the ceiling. It could be the springs, but it could also be my ceilings/glasses that aren't really "attached" to anything and aren't pushing hard during installation. All in all, they worked great and were great for the price. They don't make any noise, dim the lights well (I could get a better dimmer switch for that) and look good.

Pros
  • ✅ DIMMABLE - stepless dimming (100-10%) for every mood and interior. Our baffle recessed lights offer an instant start with no warm-up period. ✅ Easily adjust the size to fit 5" or 6" recessed can bodies.
