It took a while to swim the Pacific Ocean to get to me in California but I am very pleased with this unbranded generic Chinese product. The quality is solid. The clasp is strong. The quality of this product is good enough that you can expect it to be listed or sold under a well-known brand. The main reasons I bought this was that the small foot is more compact (the bottom of the foot is exactly the same as the top, width and length of my short Manfrotto record) and was hoping for a stronger clip. The OEM version is free. , and the lens can still rotate when fixed and mounted on a tripod. This Chinese version doesn't have that problem, and the fit and finish won't mark or otherwise damage your expensive lens surface. I'm pleasantly surprised.
