I was so happy to use this on my car. I can't remember the last time I used an air freshener in my car. Smells like a clean soap scent. Unfortunately, it didn't make my car smell good. My car smells the same, no car smell. I often park in the sun (this is usually what makes car air fresheners smell best). And I drive my car with the A/C on (helps internal circulation). So a star. And yes, I removed the inner seal to reveal the gel inside through the car air freshener lid. I placed the product next to the cup holders in the middle of the car.
