Review on Adjustable Treadle Ball Joint for DDL 8500 by Kelsey Brown

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A good product. I recommend.

They arrived quickly which is what I expected. The threads at some ends of the eye sockets weren't as well formed as I'd like, but I doubt that will cause any functionality issues. Just don't overtighten the lock nut. I wish the bolts in the pressed ball joint were lubricated, but I did that by lubricating with molybdenum grease. This extends the life of the bars and prevents wear over time. I will probably buy them again. I have about 35 machines in the shop so I will most likely need more later. That being said, the ones I've replaced and put some molybdenum grease in the ball joint are unlikely to need replacing for many years. In short, I recommend these.

Pros
  • Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model
