Overall I like the BP-1 v3 and it seems like a pretty good deal. It takes a tedious 10 minutes to set up, but everything fits right into place (no need to force anything, although I can imagine how that feels at first). It comfortably holds about 30 discs, and the side pockets are roomy even before they're fully opened. Love the umbrella cover (I use it on the Kwik Stik which can be a bit rough so it's nice to have a separation). Compressed Gatorade water bottles are great for two bottle cages, but I could see the wide bottle struggled as they are a fixed size. The top pocket is great for 4-5 discs, but it's a bit wide for that (they'll fall out) so it's a good spot for towels or other stuffing. The bottom rails work well, although I think they could be spaced a bit further for more stability. I'm having some minor issues, mostly usability issues. The front stick pocket is clearly designed for two, but when you do, each pulls the other out. There isn't a really good spot for a Mini (I don't care, but if you play a lot of tournaments it can be a bit annoying). There are no D-rings here, just a small fabric loop for a carabiner; if you like external things (loudspeakers, towels, etc.) it seems a bit fruitless. The main disc compartment is great, but it would be perfect if it weren't for the annoying flap that sometimes falls off the velcro (would be much better if it rolled up). The giant PRODIGY badge is too much and you don't want to take it off as it collects things with velcro (I understand this is a feature if you're the kind of person who wears t-shirts with your name on it, am but not me). More concerned about the comfort of the back. Depending on the tension of the shoulder strap, I sometimes feel the bottom of the bag (the plate digs into my back) rather than the supposed bottom pad. Pulling it tighter makes it more comfortable but noticeably harder to get both shoulders in the bag (and it's a heavy bag when full; you need to carry it properly, not just slung over one shoulder most of the time) . ). Some of this is down to me (I'm not very flexible and have a cranky shoulder), but I think some extra padding could be added at the bottom to give you more freedom to tighten the strap. I love the bag and don't want it to get in the way of the deal but unfortunately I'm not sure yet and need some more time with it before making a decision. I've only played a few rounds with BP-1 v3 so far, so I don't know about durability yet. For me it was either that or DD Combat Commander and I doubt anyone went wrong with either. . I was about to return the bag and think it's a design flaw, but it's a reasonable workaround. So give it a 4.5 star rating for some minor issues, but overall a good package for the money.
