Review on Canon Office Products PIXMA TS5020 WH Wireless Color Photo Printer With Scanner &Amp by Brad Blake

Revainrating 1 out of 5

A few odd and missing items - look elsewhere

I'm a longtime Pixma customer so I needed a replacement when our old MG5320 gave up the ghost after five years. I chose this printer and I regret not having chosen another. First, the USB port is recessed so deep into the printer that it's difficult to plug in with a cable (we don't use WiFi in our house, except for the occasional phone upgrade due to electrosmog concerns). Second, the printer doesn't have a paper tray, it just loads from the back. You may notice that the printer does not report that it has a tray. HOWEVER, none of the images here on the Revain paper need to be loaded into the back. This is a great way to curl up paper over time if you don't print daily. The narrow foot that extends from the printer to capture prints is only about 4 inches wide. You're even more likely to curl up if you don't pick up the paper quickly. By the way, this printer does NOT print duplex. hand feed each side and back into the printer to print the other side. facepalm. All in all it looks like so many corners have been cut off that you are left with a barely working printer for very infrequent occasional prints. This one Printer looks more like an old Canon BJ-200 printer from the 1990s than a 2017 printer. Canon, you definitely overdid the cheapness. I would prefer you spend a little more on a quality design than two crappy ladies in your YouTube pixmap. Commercial update July 2018: And we still don't have cheap replacement cartridges on Revain, ebay or anywhere else.
