As usual, after installing this light I will give my personal, honest and detailed review and will help disprove some of the things I have read in other reviews (I also read reviews before buying). I have an electrician background so I could hang this up in my sleep but I assure you my wife seriously said she could install this. She watched me the entire 15 minutes it took to install and asked why some people complain about its complexity and inferiority. It is installed like any other light: attach the mounting plate to the box, ground, make 2 connections, attach the light body to the mounting plate, install the frames, the bulbs and you're done). Second, I have no idea why some are complaining about the quality - the mount obviously has an industrial look and is made out of galvanized tubing - it's quite strong. Is that really an industrial lamp? No, but it is ideal for private use. The mounting plate has all the slots you need to attach it to any type of electrical box - it can then be adjusted depending on the orientation of your box. I read that the bracket mounting screws do not match the holes in the mounting plate. That's a problem I can't explain. The bracket was packaged with the bracket attached to the panel and the decorative screws in place so I'm not sure. Finally, I read that it has "a lot of wires". It has two turn signals and therefore has 2 white and 2 black wires. Connect all blacks together and all whites together. If your box now has more than one black and white wire (red or a few other wires) you probably want to make sure you understand what's going on and replace it exactly how the previous device was connected. Once installed, with patience, attach the cages with a nut, tightening with the simple tool included with the hardware. The cells are safe after installation. No offense, but I have a feeling that those who have pointed out difficulties or inconsistencies in the detail are simply inexperienced. and not install properly. I bought two Edison style LED bulbs from one of the big department stores to complete the look. Now for the possible negative aspect. I will say that the color is not "oil rubbed bronze". It's a glossy dark brown, but it suits our application. But for those looking for a true "oiled bronze" fitting, this isn't it. Maybe some of the negative reviews I debunked were real issues and the manufacturer has since fixed them, who knows. But this lengthy review is based on my recent experience to allow others to make a more informed decision. A NOTICE.
