If you only need to terminate a few connectors this will likely work. Once you start tying a bundle, the plastic tends to warp, making it difficult to tie with a tool. If you need to cut a large number of connectors, or do this frequently, I would suggest investing in a metal version, which is more like a traditional crimping tool and much easier to use.
