Back then you got what you didn't expect and it was better than you thought you ordered. What arrived was copper wires with heat resistant bulbs encased in some heat resistant resin and attached to 10 cords made up of two wires running through the bulbs (10 x 2 = 20 wires if you read the packaging description read). Each set of cables is connected to a "hub" where the connector cable exits and ends at the endpoint of USB A. The wires end at the end point of the lamp. . but since I don't give up easily, I decided to play around with it and see what I can do with it. There was a hole punched in the "hub" for everything to go through, so I decided to wall mount and hang it so it would be easier to untangle the wires to see what I was working with. After untangling, you'll be working with what looks like A-shaped lights hanging from the hub. When I saw I moved the mess to where my tree was and fixed it next to the tree at tree top level. here I was able to untangle the lights even more and arrange them around the tree. Finally I unclipped the "hub" and placed it on the tree. mostly "Rain" lights up over the tree. Because the lights are on a thin flexible wire, they're easy to manipulate to fill in the bald spots. If it helps, I've used it on a 38" floor to the top of the tree and it's perfect. Run them slightly around the lower branches to fill in the space and light up the presents under the tree for a really pretty effect. Anything over 38 inches for wood will require 2 sets of these lights or you will end up with a lot of bare spots. it's not bad. if you place decorations strategically :-). Image here is the size of the tree I used these lights on. This also happens when your tree canopy is damaged and shortens your tree. While the wood does not glow, its size (excluding the topper) is perfect for using these lights without creating bare spots.
