Functional and attractive

I've just selected a dark living room set and was looking for tables to match and also fit into a narrow space. I don't usually buy furniture online, but as local options were limited I settled on this side table and bought four of them. All in all it was a positive experience. Assembly was easy, all you needed was an Allen key (included) and a screwdriver. Each piece is clearly labeled and I assembled all four in a few hours, sloppy work. No damage or manufacturing defects on any of the four units I received. These tables fit well in some tight spaces and the empty space above the drawers is really useful for storage. The legs are adjustable to correct wobble and they look amazing with the wood inlays as you can see in the photos. The only real gripe I have is with the boxes themselves. It's not clearly stated so I want to make sure potential buyers know this is NOT written on the slides. They work well enough, but the drawers don't slide out smoothly like I expected. It's basically a plastic rail about 8 inches long that screws onto the inside of each side. The bottom drawer is below, the top drawer is above, and that's how they work. It gets the job done and I know everyone evaluates things differently, but paying close to $100 for a chipboard table is pretty expensive for me. For the price, I was expecting a decent drawer pull system, not something that would likely cost the manufacturer a few dollars at most. However, it is a very good table and I am happy with the purchase.
