Yes, I measured the calves and bought the small ones. I bought too many at once, couldn't put them on just because I have problems with swelling in my feet, ankles etc. So I decided to buy a larger size and I was able to put them on, but they are longer and I had to roll them up a bit. I'm 6'6" and yes they were a bit long for my liking and went a bit into familiar territory. I don't need them to climb that high. The swelling went down on the left side so I went went back and tried on the small ones i ordered and this time i was able to put them on and they fit perfectly the way i wanted so i suggest you buy a size easier for you to get everything.because trust me this is the most important thing or you won't wear them as i said i fall in slightly different circumstances so if you really aren't dealing with swelling then measure your calves and order the right size and you ' will be fine. Just wanted to warn you not to buy too many at once if you are unsure if they will fit or not. You must have the logo (and I have white logo sleeves, 5 small white lines on black socks ) on the back of the leg . It was also on my leg and it works great, it's just a little weird to put on because it goes against the crease. And I also tried the logo on the front but it looks silly.
