I was actually looking for an electric hasp, but the ones I tried had design flaws. Your cables (both for the connection and the controller) were MUCH short. Also their heating wires were very obvious for bulky blankets. But THIS double blanket is AWESOME! As described: 1) The heating wires are almost invisible and both cables are very long. Cord length is important when used as a bedspread as sockets are often far from sofas etc. 2) I checked cold spots with a thermometer. Nothing found. 3) The fabric is soft and attractive, and the blanket is light. There is a very slight "rustling" from the middle layer which contains the heating wires, but this appears to be fading as reported elsewhere. 4) 10-hour shutdown works reliably. 5) Energy-efficient low voltage means the real layer of the three-layer blanket is cool to the touch. 6) The 60 inch double width fully covers the top of the queen size mattress with overhang on all sides. Since the duvet does not need to be tucked in, this is the perfect size for 1 person in a queen room. bed.7) Unlike most electrically heated products, this blanket can sit and be laid on, so it can be rolled up and used as a duvet.8) IMPORTANT: it heats efficiently. Tested overnight in a room at 60° with no other bedding . The ceiling stayed at about 70° at setting #7 (11 settings: Lo, 1-9, Hi). I felt good all night. If durability is not an issue in the future, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this blanket!
