Review on Yellow SanDisk 8GB Clip Sport MP3 Player with LCD Screen, FM Radio - SDMX24-008G-G46Y by Onsommoshit Mathews

12/14/2016 - I have bought several of these in different designs for myself, my wife and some children. This does not record FM radio or speech. This is the only difference between this and previous versions that I have seen so far. This is a great little player. ---- PREVIOUS REVIEW COMMENT DECEMBER 14, 2016 ------ Now, January 31, 2017; Since then I have noticed two shortcomings. (1) When I try to get it to order the list of items correctly, it doesn't order the list correctly. I haven't had this problem with my other SanDisk products. This is most obvious for lists whose names contain numbers. for example, Psalm 127 is played before Psalm 001 or Psalm 010. So I'm changing my rating from 5 to 2 stars. . The workaround is to put everything you're listening to into a playlist that the player provides. then play in turn. Playlist syncing from my laptop didn't work the only time I tried. The firmware is up to date. (2) Syncing a list of items from the same folder with the same album name etc. does not guarantee that the SanDisk Clip Sport Player will put them in the album with the same name on the player. Sometimes it puts items in three or four different folders, e.g. Christmas Music, Christmas Mus, Christmas M, Christmas ----- these would all be one album I synced to the player and it ended up being 4 different albums. He does it all the time. This product is much faster than the same in years past, but it's not as good.
