I bought this hat for our 3 year old son as he only had one to rely on and we often got lost so he definitely needed an extra. I will say that the material for this hat is nice and soft, stretchy and fits perfectly on the head. I think he loves it more than his original which is the only Carter's brand we buy from in good faith. He tends to wear this and he has a head that fits most adult sized hats and this in turn fits him very well. The fabric for the hat is also right in the middle, not too thick and not too thin.
