It says it's 13 inches wide at its narrowest point (and they also have the widest 13 inches so they completely messed that up as it's at least opens another 4 inches). is NOT 13 inches. If it didn't have wings, then yes, it would be about 13 inches, but they forgot that the wings add another 3/4 inch, and that 3/4 inch makes that 1/2 inch wider than my old 1970's drawer years years. 🤦‍♀️I had to disassemble it and remove the wings to use it in my box. It was surprisingly easy to take apart - I just took both wings and yanked hard and it all fell apart. You may be wondering why I did this and not just come back? This is because this Vine offer does not allow returns. If I ordered it the normal way then it looks like I can return it but as I can't return it I will because we needed an upgrade and are on a very limited income at the moment every little helps. Not as happy with it as I had hoped. I can't fit that many things in my drawer right now. But now it's beautifully designed. In terms of content, it is not 100% bamboo. The parts that stand - the edges and dividers - are made of bamboo, and the floor is fiberboard with bamboo-like paper. Structurally, only the pins hold it together. Not nails, but thin sticks of a sewing needle stuck in bamboo details. No glue. I used glue when reassembling it so I could actually use it. But all the pieces fit together and it looks good and has some weight. If it fits right I'd give it 4 stars as it's decent and I really have no problem with it - just not worth 5 stars in my opinion, especially as I had to move things into different drawers to make up for the lost 2 spots ( the blue holder was so small that I had plenty of room in the front and back - I kept the steak knives in the front and the extra cutlery in the back - worked). But since I took the time to make sure this fit and her measurements were wrong at the time of writing, I'm deducting another star. The devil is in the details.
