When the product arrived it smelled very aromatic. It was so strong my wife got headaches and asthma. So we tried to 'deodorize' it several times and even left it outside overnight hoping the fresh air would drive the odor away. But even that didn't work. So we get stuck with a bed frame that we can't use because of its own smell. If you have breathing problems or asthma, DO NOT buy this item.
