Use eyelash glue.
Here's the thing. The glue on these gems is junk and you can forget they are glued by themselves. However, you get a lot of gems for the price. I recommend applying some eyelash glue to the area where you want to attach them (or you can apply some glue directly to the back of the gem) and use tweezers to remove them from the transfer sheet. I've used them for several events and the last glue with them lasts all day. As for the reviews stating that the gems are separate, they come with a cardboard insert to prevent the gems from moving.
