Bought for the watch but the display doesn't work on the watch

The charger is OK. But I bought it for a watch so I can see what time it is better at night. The problem is that when the phone is fully charged, the display only shows "100" instead of showing the time. You can reach out and touch the display button on the back and it will show the time for a few seconds but then revert to showing "100". There's a second mode that toggles between time, date and temperature, but it's just as annoying.
