I installed this on 6/23/18, I will come back and edit if it stops working (I hope not) but so far this is day one. The system took a while to kick in (which I think it did), sometimes clipping the first few jerks and actually resisting when I accelerated. I'm not sure what's going on, but I also sometimes heard some sort of hissing/rubbing (I thought it was the wrong belt) and I thought it was the relief valve. It's pretty sweet that it actually worked, and for a while the system basically calibrated itself. It was like that for the first 30-45 minutes, hissed 4-5 times, but then the air started to stay cool now under acceleration and even stay colder (instead of shutting off). I replaced it along with a new condenser and dryer, the system was vacuumed and showed no signs of leaks. A sure sign that your compressor is defective is; It makes excessive noise and outputs no more than 10psi (low side) when turned on. Installed in a Honda Civic 2000 DX (fits perfectly)
