at the moment I'm only giving 4 stars because I don't yet know how waterproof they actually are, but the design for the Chinese made connection kit seems to be of a pretty high quality. Plugged in and unplugged a few times, no problem, I used two of these in my overhead console project to quickly remove for maintenance and two to replace the crappy spade connectors my two front LED light bars came with . Satisfied so far, casting of the body is fine, no mold flashes or other deformations preventing connection, rubber water seals are good quality and compress well when mated, no problems unscrewing the pins, except for one to put back on - fitted and everything was fine, the wire is good enough, should handle 5-8 amps with no problem, I wouldn't recommend them for very heavy applications over 20 amps. In addition, they fulfill the task for which they were created.
