This wire harness looks very nice and would have liked it a lot more if it worked; but for some reason the idiot who assembled it just slipped two 12 AWG (power) and one 20 AWG (control) wire into the back of the relay connector without crimping or soldering anything; All three wires were loose and moving freely. The two main negative power wires (with a 40A fuse) were temporarily connected only due to proximity. To top it off, this whole mess was wrapped in shrink tubing where the lazy connection wasn't visible. During operation, this type of connection is terribly intermittent, typically overheating and severely degrading the light it is connected to. Everyone makes mistakes and I'm willing to forgive the mistake, but it was NOT a mistake, it was a lazy build with no quality control testing. If I loaded it before discovering the problem, it could easily cause damage. I could send it back to Revain and they would pay the shipping and refund what I paid, but that doesn't make up for the time lost installing, troubleshooting, uninstalling, returning, installing new and returning old. When purchasing a Nilight Wiring Harness, please check all electrical connections before installing. If you have a deadline, you can buy two in case one is defective and then send one back. I really hope their other products get better assembled and QC tested before being forced on the unsuspecting consumer. I wouldn't want to buy such a sloppily assembled light panel.
