I’ll admit, pulling it out of the package I didn’t expect much from it. It looks a little cheap, and the snaps are plastic. But once I got it on him, it was just adorbs! It’s a great value for the money paid.The suspenders are a shiny gold thread, which I wasn’t expecting and even came to double check I got the right outfit. But if that really bothers you, they are detachable and you can use a different pair. There’s a "lip” to the pants so the clip-on ones will work just fine. The bowtie is also detachable, connected to an elastic band with the same plastic snaps at the end. The shirt part is lightweight seersucker, while the pants are a lightweight khaki. (It’s a romper, but the top and bottom are different materials.) There’s no stretch to it so if your baby is on the bigger end of his size or fights getting dressed, you may want to size up.It is a great summer outfit! Your baby won’t overheat in this. If you’re planning to use it in slightly cooler weather, you might want to layer it with a onsie underneath. Also, I highly recommend a fedora to double the cuteness!
