For many years I doubted whether the noise generator would improve my sleep. My ears are ringing and I thought maybe a noise machine would help. My wife bought one with rain and sea sounds a few years ago, but the sound quality and the fact that water sounds aren't reassuring when you think a pipe is about to burst in the middle of the night made it ineffective for getting a good night's sleep. I saw a good review of this machine and was very interested in the "brown" sounds. I noticed a difference after the first night, I actually slept deeply enough to have a dream that I could remember. About 3 days after I started it, I spent a night away from home and didn't take it with me, and I didn't sleep well at all. One thing I notice: Even if I wake up to go to the toilet, I fall asleep again. It's hard to explain, after a while you don't really notice the sound until you turn off the car in the morning and the room feels completely different! We're sorry! The sound quality is amazing and overall the quality of the product is really good. I have since bought one for my son who has a fan every night to help him sleep. I even bought a travel case because he's going on vacation with me.
