Review on 🔌 Highly Durable Anker Powerline+ USB-C to USB 3.0 Cable (6ft, 2-Pack) for Samsung Galaxy, iPad Pro, MacBook & More - Grey by Kenny Hrdlicka

Disclosure: I'm a fan of Anker products and have a lot of them. Anker Powerline+ USB-C to USB 3.0 Cable (6ft 2-pack) High Durability for Samsung Galaxy Note 8 S8 S8+ Cable S9 iPad Pro 2018 MacBook Nexus 5X Nexus 6P OnePlus 2 and Others ( grey) is the first product that doesn't live up to the usual high standards I've come to expect from Anker. Quality: Although I've only been using the cables for a few weeks, I found the quality of materials and durability to be excellent. I would assume that with proper care these cables will last for many years. Some reviewers bemoaned the rigidity of these cables; While not as flexible as some braided cables, I found this to indicate superior build quality rather than poor quality. Charging: In my experience, these cables are good for charging. However, the only device I've actively charged with them is the OnePlus 6T. For reference, I would estimate that the charging speed is roughly the same as charging a Samsung Galaxy S7 with a Samsung OEM charger. I understand that this is far from scientific observation. As other reviewers have reported, in my experience these cables do not support dash/warp charging (if you plan to use them with the OEM OnePlus charging box). I also tested charging the OnePlus 6T with these cables connected to the Anker fast charger - they seemed to charge at the same rate as charging the 6T when connected to the OEM OnePlus charger. Data transmission: In my experience, cables are unreliable for data transmission. When trying to transfer photos from a Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone to a PC, I received the error message "The data provided is of the wrong type" several times. The error persisted after restarting the phone and PC and trying to transfer the file again. I replaced the Anker cable with the OnePlus 6T OEM cable and all files transferred without error on the first try. Again, I didn't use any scientific methodology, but this result was enough to convince me that the Anker cables were responsible for the file transfer issue I had repeatedly observed before replacing the cable. -C to USB 3.0 Cable (6ft, 2-Pack) Rugged for Samsung Galaxy Note 8, S8, S8+, S9, iPad Pro 2018, MacBook, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, OnePlus 2 and More (Gray)": - I would rate these cables an A+ for build quality (after about 3 weeks of use) - In my experience, these cables are good for charging, but they don't dash/warp charge OnePlus 6T - In my experience, cables for the I believe Anker makes quality products and my less than perfect experience with them will in no way affect my future purchases of their products.
