The cheapest cabin filter I could find for my 2019 Kia Niro. I prefer activated charcoal or charcoal filter but decided to try this one without that feature. The trick with any cabin air filter is to find out ahead of time if you can actually access it - the Kia and later Toyotas I've had - easily. My 2003 VW Beetle requires partial disassembly of the dashboard, and my 2003 Odyssey requires removing many screws and a difficult but not impossible struggle with the glove box.
- The second and third layers of activated carbon block harmful gases such as carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide. This layer, combined with baking soda, absorbs unpleasant odors. 4th layer with increased protection.
