I like your products but this unit didn't work with my Dell 15, 3000 laptop. I bought this shortly after buying a laptop with an HDMI output to convert an HDMI signal to a VGA signal for an older Dell projector. This item worked for 1 1/2 weeks. I had to solve some software configuration issues in order to stream videos and slides to the extended desktop. By the end of the first week I was ready to go. I demonstrated this with an operator. They had to show two videos. The first went with no problems. The second went to a black screen and they couldn't view the extended desktop. I tested it with an HDMI screen that worked fine. I used a JTECH to LCD screen converter which created the screen for a second and then went blank. I changed the resolution properties for both the main and secondary displays. fit or work. No settings change the black screen. I used another LCD that wasn't communicating. I thought it was an adapter, sent it back, replaced with the same item, repeated the procedure, same result. As a result, I used a Diamond brand USB converter. I have used other Jtech products (HDMI Audio Splitter, HDMI Video Splitter) and they have worked for a year or more. Maybe the laptop is to blame, who knows.
