Like other reviewers, our experience has been that these bulbs burn out fairly quickly with normal use. I'm guessing we get 500 hours of it at most. If they're in a 24/7 location, you'll definitely want an LED version (as opposed to these). Now, however, these bulbs are cheaper than other options at around $3.35 per bulb. The rest are twice as expensive. These bulbs emit a warm, multicolored glow, sometimes shimmering in shades of blue and red. I personally like the look, but others may find it inconsistent.
