This little thing is so useful. I mainly use it for draining vegetables from jars, and I like it more as a fixture that should be used for draining jars. The short handle is perfect for balancing and holding the glass. above the sink. I no longer use my regular glass strainer that has to be snapped onto the glass. I always seem to pack this instead. I have found many uses for it. I've found myself using it more than I ever thought I could for all kinds of prep jobs in the kitchen. I love it so much that if it breaks tonight I will be ordering more tonight.
