This product was just what I needed for the first few months! But little did I know that every time I closed my computer, my new MacBook's screen would become looser every time I closed it. Before you tell yourself that you carefully closed your laptop and I slammed it shut, you should know that my computer RARELY leaves the house and I don't have a single scratch on the screen. The other day I opened my MacBook to a black screen of death. It's only 5 months old and it's the latest model! I contacted Apple after trying all sorts of software resets and they found a subtle crack in the display. Since this is due to "accidental damage", it's not covered under the factory warranty and it cost me $700 to replace the retina display. $700 under. I am so disappointed in this product.
