I've been using this watch for almost a month now and I have to say I like it. This watch is a replacement for my old black Baby-G which I've used for about 5 years with no problems. The only reason I replaced it is because the LED backlight stopped working a few months ago and I'm one of those people who is crazy about being able to see my watch in the dark. This analogue clock looks very nice. The features are great and I've gotten a lot of compliments. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is as follows: 1. The resin strap gets dirty very easily. If, like me, you wear a watch all the time (e.g. sleep, shower, exercise) it's probably better to go with a different color. I found myself constantly cleaning up the group. The inside of the strap (the part that touches my skin) is already slightly discolored. Probably b/ci wears a self-tanning body lotion. I'll try brushing it with some bleach and a cotton swab and see if that bleaches it. I checked online yesterday to see if the original bracelet can be replaced with a stainless steel bracelet. I have contacted a company that sells Casio replacement straps and I am still waiting for a reply. if they have it, i will most likely replace it.2. This watch (like the original Baby G I had before) doesn't have the ability to run intervals in stopwatch/timer mode. So if you are a runner and like to do 10/1s, there is no beep at the 10 minute mark and at the minute mark. This is an essential feature for long-distance runners. So if you need it, I say go for Timex or another brand. The LED button is very difficult to find and press in the dark. The old man G had a big big button at the very bottom of the dial. never had a problem finding him in the middle of the night. This watch requires you to press the top right button. I've always tried to find it and even when I find it I seem to have trouble tapping it. Luckily, the hands of the clock also light up, so you don't have to use this feature too often. All in all I can recommend this watch. it is inexpensive, durable, fashionable but functional. my old one lasted forever and the face always looked new even though it was 5 years old. However, I replaced the bracelet about 2 years ago because if you wear it all the time like I did, the resin will start to deteriorate and fall apart. I'm sure the mechanics of this watch will be just as good, but I'm pretty sure the strap itself will need replacing much sooner (because it's white and will start to look pretty ugly in the not too distant future) and the dial . doesn't stay as "clean/new" as black. I hope this helps you decide.
