I am a teacher and recently started working from home. After my laptop's keyboard was damaged, I had to order a USB keyboard and mouse to continue using my device. Since the school district will be fixing my laptop when we get back to school (and I already have a wireless mouse to use in the classroom), I was looking for something makeshift. This mouse is small and light. After using this mouse for a while, the desktop mouse seems to be a brick. The mouse is a simple plug and play USB device. For the most part, the mouse does what it's supposed to do and allows me to get my work done on my laptop. For a price under ten dollars you can't expect the world. My mouse problems are that sometimes the right button doesn't work and I have to use keyboard shortcuts to cut, copy and paste. Also sometimes the left button doesn't work. You may have to click something 3 or 4 times to open it. Mouse tracking is pretty good, and I was able to adjust to the ergonomics and small size. Overall, for the price, this mouse is great for temporary use. If you use the mouse a lot, I'd suggest paying a little more for something with better performance. Depending on how long we are working from home I may need to order a higher quality mouse but this will do for now. I needed a mouse at the last minute so I didn't have a choice due to the arrival time. If I were to order a different mouse or rebuild, I would charge a higher price to get a better performing mouse.
