These are comfortable, lightweight compression socks that are good for long flights or just everyday wear. I have varicose veins and although I have to wear some kind of support stockings every day, they often feel tight or itchy after a while, especially in the summer. They seem to me to be much more comfortable because they compress more easily than many others so I tend to wear them every day. It's kind of funny because the higher compression ratio is nice in a lot of ways. I don't feel the need to put my feet up when I'm sitting. But they can also feel tense, and they should. But I like the feel of them. Fits well. I'm 5'5" and about 135 pounds. I could probably go with the small size. Judging by the leg measurements, I was just over the line on Wednesday. They feel good on my feet.
