I think it was a good purchase. I knew they would be small so I didn't worry about the size. The selection of picture ideas is cute and my four year old loved having them as options. You can still create any designs with them. I'm a kindergarten teacher so I have the original large items of this type and I really like this small version for my daughter. It is very easy to travel with him. The set includes a pocket for storing the forms, and you can easily tie the cards with a rubber band. The point isn't to have the shapes at the top of the cards, you use them to follow them. As a teacher, this is a skill that children should work on by imitating! Anyone can put a matching piece on it, but looking at the picture and recreating it is more difficult. Great little activity for kids.
