The fit is not too tight if you get L/XL initially like everyone else I buy another hat. The material is very clean. The seams are not visible mainly due to the added smoothness. You put it on as it tends to push your back a little forward like most hats, giving the impression that you could use a propeller in the middle of your hat. This is true of all milliners, although any fitted hat should have the back slightly higher. Conclusion: damn good hat, buy it if in doubt.
