I've always liked Timex watches for their reliability and affordability; So I bought it to wear to the hospital and rehab after knee surgery. I wanted something waterproof so I could wash my hands frequently and not worry about moisture damaging them. But the belt disappointed me. It's a bit slippery so the end of the strap doesn't stay in the little loop it's supposed to hold. I have to constantly adjust the bracelet to keep the end of the bracelet from snagging on clothes, stuff in my purse, etc. It's actually my fault that I can't see the dial very well: I ordered a black dial and the watch hands are difficult to see unless I highlight them in very dark places. If I had to do it again I would order a white dial. It still looks sharp with a black and white stripe.
