I installed this on a new HP Elite x2 right out of the box. I took off the factory screen protector and put it on. The screen has never been touched. Not a single spot of dirt and even air bubbles under the main part of the film, but the corners do not fall. I even tried heating a bit with constant pressure. The edges of the screen protector are at least 1/16 inch from the edge of the screen so there is no edge to keep it from lying flat. The edges around the camera also do not match. So now you know that in a short time these ledges will fill up with dirt and debris and keep climbing. What a waste of time and money. I would understand if it was universal protection, but it is specific to this device. look elsewhere
