not 100% cotton, seams are ripped

I bought it to color into ties for my lover's outfit for my birthday. it's not 100% cotton because the dye I used didn't cure properly (the black turned out to be a medium grey). and the crotch seam started tearing after a few hours of wear (thank god part of the tunic was hiding his stuff!).
