We got this for our 4 month old kitten who is overly aggressive towards our 4 year old cat. We got her at 2 months and hoped that she would soften and adapt, unfortunately that didn't happen. It was so bad that I considered relocating the kitten, which I have never done with a pet in my life. So we ordered these collars and crossed our fingers. We arrived and we applied it to the kitten, initially it smells very strongly of lavender. I was a little concerned that some of us would get migraines, but none of us had any problems. Our cat slept so soundly that night it felt like she could really relax for the first time. The next day she stopped attacking our other cat. After a few days she stopped eating as if she could no longer be fed. We adopted her from a shelter and don't know anything about her life before she came to the shelter, but I assume it was a difficult time. After a few weeks she was much happier and more confident sharing toys and playing with our other cat! I've even caught her sleeping now and then. The collar seems to last about 4 weeks. So worth the money! I'm very glad I found these and will use them for as long as she needs them.
