From the moment I took it (literally) out of the box, my cats went straight in. They use it all the time and take turns and sometimes the youngest one tries to get the big one out haha Pro: great material, well made, completely stops my cats from scratching my fabric bench and they prefer to sleep in it. fits all sizes up to 17 lb boys. It can probably be used on a dog too if you use a soft button pad in it. Due to the material, it is also easy to clean with a hair removal brush, roller or vacuum cleaner. If necessary, you can also throw it clean in the washing machine. Cons: It doesn't look like a perfect oval or circle. It will be folded in a pocket in the box so it takes time to take shape. see my photo. That's two weeks after the birth. It gets there, but while the cats sleep in it, it takes shape. but it really is. This is a great item and we are buying a second one for our cats to have. They are durable and cats love to place their paws on the material like a natural sensor. Definitely recommended to try.
