i bought this for one of my boston terriers and she watched me pick it up. I found her in about half an hour lying belly up, legs in the air, snoring; I don't think she likes it, does she?!?! I ordered another one for my other Boston who doesn't usually like beds; I did this after I found her sniffing around trying to wake her sister from her sleep only to find herself drowning in it! This is such an AWESOME dog bed concept as I've always dreaded dog bed wash day. They will inevitably get lumpy and the seams will tear even on a low washing machine setting because you have to put the whole bed in the washing machine! NOT THIS. It comes with a great pillow that is detachable from the dog bed, then you can open it and take out the padding (like pillowcase), the "walls" also have a full length zipper at the bottom of the bed so you can pull the padding in all four areas. So you can just toss the material, not the pad, in the washing machine! Also, I can't say enough about the wonderful material this bed is made of. I would like a duvet made of this material for my bed. It is truly exquisite and of excellent quality. LOVE LOVE LOVE! I will never go back to those cheap $10-15 store bought dog beds.
