I bought this collar because I live on a farm and my cat goes everywhere. Some spots are full of ticks and without protection you can see the ticks crawling over the cat. I used to use Seresto but last year my cat had a bad reaction. This collar helped my cat but didn't completely eliminate the fur mites. One day the collar came off and I noticed that pliers were attached to it. I tightened the collar and a few days later I noticed dead ticks were attached to it. I started using Liquid vets best product in combination with a collar. When I use both products it seems to stay mite free. Seresto worked better but I got a couple of collars from them that didn't work a couple of times. I have to work harder to protect my cat, but I like using natural products.
