Great case! I'll try to be thorough in this review for those who are on the fence.

I bought this for my friend's 12.9 inch iPad. She had a quirky designer case that looked great and had little felt grooves to place the iPad at different angles. The only problem. Movement or impact, it will fall flat. Consider THE problem solved. These magnets are solid. How very solid indeed. The 10 different angles are amazing, and even at the lowest level when the body is almost horizontal (the indentation is the furthest back) it doesn't move. Where you put it, it will stay. Will the case stick to the fridge and stay inside with the iPad? That. I had to move 42 billion magnets to make room to try this, but it definitely worked. So if you're one of those people who want to attach their iPad to something metallic, you've come to the right place. I've opened and closed the door a few times and it hasn't moved or tried to fall. The quality of the materials is excellent. I kind of rolled my eyes when I read the description about the use of "Mercedes Benz-like materials", but I'm correcting myself. The leather looks and feels great. Also very nicely packaged. No loose ends or seams. But it was the feeling that really impressed me. I guess I shouldn't have rolled my eyes. hahaFit is excellent, my girlfriend's iPad is a 12.9 first gen so the camera and mic are placed slightly differently than the second gen and this new case has holes cut out to fit both. You can clearly see that there is a small notch in the camera cutout for each generation. So don't worry if it fits mine or what generation I am? And of course, if you have 1st gen and one day upgrade to 2nd gen or later, your case is still fine. It's also very thin. Wearing this case on her iPad, you hardly notice that it's gotten thicker, while her (admittedly) prettier designer case was significantly bulkier and thicker than this one. She loves that part. It's really thin, but the corners and edges have a nice bumper so it looks like this case will actually have the same drop protection as the previous one. Well done. She doesn't have a pencil or whatever, but she uses a pen with a thick rubber tip that fits neatly in a small pocket on her back. She really likes this part too, her other case had a little loop of elastic fabric that you put it in and this design is much more secure and looks better. So yes. Simply put, she LOVES this thing. I am also very satisfied. So much so that I ordered another one for my mom and her 9.7 inch iPad. They are not cheap but after seeing, feeling and most importantly using them I am happy to say that they are worth the money. When you get what you pay for. Now. minuses? Really only one that I can think of and it's no blow to the product itself, just a word of warning. Because in this case the screen rests on the magnets. Unlike most cases, when you tilt the bottom of the screen forward (toward you) and place it in the grooves, the part of the case that touches the screen when closed rests on your surface. So if you've been using this outside on a picnic table or similar, you'll need to make sure you've cleaned it of any small pebbles or dirt before closing it back on screen. Or better yet, just lay down a small towel or something. My girlfriend likes that the body leans back and nothing protrudes forward, which makes it easier for us to sit on our knees. But there's a fairly small issue with this design to make sure you're aware of the rare occasions when you put this on something dirty. But that's all about the negatives, and it's such a minor issue as most people wouldn't just put it on pebbles or dirt, even with a traditional case. So definitely 5 stars, I'm always wary of heavily advertised products, but in this case the hype was justified. Having ordered one for my mom's iPad I can't think of a better recommendation than buying 2.
