Review on Malin+Goetz Luxury Hand Poured Aromatic Candles and Gift Set - Highly Scented, All Natural, Long Lasting 60 Hours, 9oz by Jeremy Nunez

This is the most expensive candle I have ever bought and the company's fragrance description is blends of bergamot and plum with heart notes of leather and rum and base notes are amber patchouli and vanilla. and also the general rave reviews made me salivate. I LOVE these scents. Add to that the advertised burn time and I was like, okay, let's do this. I was so excited to see it. I'm not sure what happened to my candle, but my experience is completely different from those rave reviews. Did I get a bad batch? I know from making candles that it takes quite a bit... They've been burning for 3 hours in a fairly small space (which according to the packaging should be the maximum burn time) and 1.) I can hardly smell - the throw is terrible - I kind of have to press my face against it and 2.) it smells like a bar of pigeon soap and nothing like the description. I've bought much better candles at Target for $10, and even candles I've played around with and made myself have had more overshoots. Just very disappointed.
