Paper vs. Plastic

Most spools of dental floss are now made of plastic. Cardboard is becoming increasingly difficult to find. I prefer cardboard thread spools because: 1. I can mark them with a pencil, erase them, and reuse them; and 2. If there is a way, I try to get away from plastic.
