The 13-in-1 is a decent device if your laptop/PC does more than just transfer data

I bought the 13-in-1 hub because I wanted to connect multiple monitors to my laptop to work more efficiently. It was one of the few that had everything I wanted and one of the few that was reasonably priced. Came in normal time. This was in the early stages of the pandemic so delivery of many non-essential items was somewhat delayed. never mind Unfortunately, I didn't know that the HDMI ports wouldn't work on my new HP Pavilion x360 laptop since the built-in Type-C port is data only and doesn't support audio/video. As that was the only reason to buy this hub it was a bit of a disappointment but not the hub manufacturer's fault. I also bought USB Type-C connectors to work around the problem, but that didn't work either. I thought a new expensive laptop would have a hardware upgrade. Read all about a new computer before you buy it. The device took several attempts to finally connect to my laptop. I've tried unplugging and plugging it back in, restarting the laptop, and finally installing the software recommended by the hub manufacturer. After a few weeks the device started to work properly. I have no idea what else happened to make it finally work. It just happened. It was quite frustrating but now it works almost every time I use it. Customer service was very nice and helpful. A bit pushy to ask for a review, but I didn't want to give one until I was sure at least part of the device was working properly. I no longer regret buying this center. However, I do regret buying an HP laptop as there should be more bells and whistles in such an expensive machine. I can't confirm that all of the features work properly as I can't use some of them due to my situation, but the parts that work work fine. It's beautiful, small and comfortable. I'd say if you need a hub it's worth checking out for its specs and cost. Just make sure your laptop or desktop comes with a Type-C port that supports more than just data transfer.

Pros
