We use this with a 2017 Jayco Hummingbird RV and a Renogy solar panel when we camp scattered. The bare ends of the wires attach directly to the RV battery terminals and secure with terminal nuts. The other end with the solar panel adapter connectors connects to the Renogy solar panel connectors. They can be easily connected to or disconnected from the solar panel. The 20 foot length was just right for us. Long enough for the solar panel to be exposed to sunlight, but not so long that charging efficiency doesn't decrease. The wire is thick. When not in use, we roll up the wire and attach it to the camper frame with Velcro. A question I had before buying it was that my camper has what is called a connector for connecting to a solar panel. Does an extension fit? These ports are generally obsolete. Modern solar panels use the connectors found on this cable. They are best connected directly to the RV battery.
