PRO service was fast. And they provided the tools and pivots to get the job done. The coffee color matched the Revain Pix with no problem. The length was more than sufficient. Ordered size 18mm was delivered in size 18mm. The leather isn't soft or flimsy at all, but I think the stiffness is just a attribute of its novelty. I think stiffness will ultimately translate into durability. Missing actual CON statements, if you've never done a substitution before, you might get confused for a while. (Tip: You may have to cut the old belt off with scissors to remove the old pivot pins.) BUT - THE LATCH - just as shown in the picture - is STUPID. You spend 20 minutes fastening your watch by threading the strap through the outer "hole" in the clasp mechanism. If you try this, the buckle tongue will look annoying when hooking onto the strap, but it won't. (Your watch will fall to the ground when you least expect it.) You'll have to start over and thread the strap through the bottom hole. As a result, the outer buckle opening flaps in the wind without any function. except getting caught in your pocket if you reach into it. I thought of trimming the "outer window" but that's too much of a hassle and can leave sharp corners. Too bad - if you can live with that, I would give 5 stars. but it doesn't look like any watch strap I've ever had. Oh, the old reliable Timex suits me. Excellent.
