If you can get one of these levers with ALL the right L-bars and whoever has the bolts tightened for a real person on planet earth to loosen, you've got a good product . I've wondered for so long if one of the L-shaped bars was too small, the screws looked different than some of the others, and I had zero freedom of movement, was I missing something? Eventually after a while I decided I had to push really hard to move it and found an L shaped bar from a PC kit I had a long time ago. I was able to move ONE of the screws properly. The others are so tight that they cannot be unscrewed. Unless they sent me another mic arm, I see no point in giving it a higher rating. Might even fail in the future if it doesn't work or some other problem occurs. Pretty disappointed after seeing the reviews but I see WORKING would be great. ** UPDATE So I contacted Vivo via email. They connected me to the arm piece and not the base, which is fine because that was the part that needed replacing. Although to be honest. The screws on the underside of the lever, which determine how the lever moves in certain directions and HOW much they move, are still too tight even when new. BUT this paddle is still the best paddle I have ever had and I still recommend it over the RODE PSA 1 for people who want a quality paddle with VERY versatile functionality. That's why I was so critical, because it reduces the versatility a bit. If I needed an arm for a different area in addition to the mic I have now, I would again choose this Vivo over the PSA 1 (although I already have a PSA1 and buying another arm would be superfluous). This hand is also cheaper in price, which makes it more attractive. Vivo addressed my concerns and did everything possible to ensure I was happy. Very happy with them as a company. This is important for every consumer when buying goods online.
