I have to say I was very impressed with this shaver. I have other inexpensive straight edge razors and thought this one would be the equivalent but it is much better. I was immediately struck by how nice it looks and how much weight compared to the cheap plastic razors I have. It's not heavy, but it has enough weight that I don't have to strain as much when shaving, reducing the chances of cutting myself. The razor is well built and the blade is firmly compressed and protrudes very little from the razor, reducing blade kinks and cuts. My only issue with the razor is that the blade doesn't quite reach the tip when I'm used to it, so I had more trouble making very fine, detailed edges with the razor tip. It might be something I just need to adapt to. If so, I'll correct my rating. However, I am very happy with this shaver and have bought a second one.
