I have lupus which (for those who don't know) leads to periodic flare-ups that make all the joints inflamed and painful. I'm also a writer who spends hours typing. I've tried knit fingerless gloves, which offer no support and expose sore fingers too much, and some neoprene medical compression gloves that make my hands sweat profusely due to the lack of airflow.
